About the department
The Art and Design department at Melton Vale Sixth Form College is a lively, creative and successful department. Art and Design continues to be a popular destination for many prospective learners. The department offers A Level Art and Design across four pathways: photography, media, textiles design, graphic communication and art, craft & design.
Role purpose
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated creative teaching practitioner with excellent subject knowledge who is keen to see their students reach their academic and creative potential. A proven track record of success is desirable to join our strong and supportive Creative Arts team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons across Art and Design, contributing to A Level pathways and other courses in the department.
* Inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Collaborate with the Creative Arts team to develop curriculum and assessment.
* Maintain student welfare and safeguarding in line with school policies.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher with suitable subject knowledge in Creative Arts.
* Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons and contribute to multiple courses within the department.
