Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, required in Oldham
1. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
2. Salary: up to £39,800 basic (depending on experience) + superb weekly bonus scheme – OTE up to £44,500
Our client, a well-established and respected Automotive Dealership, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their expanding Aftersales team. Key Responsibilities for a Diagnostic Technician:
3. Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles
4. Use advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data
5. Carry out accurate assessments and quality repairs in line with manufacturer standards
6. Support workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
7. Share technical knowledge to help develop the wider team
What We’re Looking For in a Diagnostic Technician?
8. Qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
9. Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in a Workshop environment
10. Pride in workmanship and the ability to work well within a busy team
11. Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
