Senior Pay and Conditions Officer – Workforce Team Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months initially
This role is essential in delivering a high-quality pay, conditions, and pensions service, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee data across HR/payroll systems and third-party platforms.
Deliver professional HR, payroll, and pensions advice to managers and employees
• Ensure accurate processing of contractual, statutory, and pension changes
• Reconcile payrolls, manage BACS payments, and liaise with third-party providers
• Calculate pension estimates, redundancy payments, and overpayments
• Support TUPE transfers, academy conversions, and policy updates
• Maintain and develop HR/payroll systems and contribute to policy development
• Provide guidance on sensitive pension and death-in-service issues
Strong technical experience in HR/payroll/pension administration
• In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and pension schemes
• Ability to manage complex data and meet tight deadlines
• Flexible, detail-oriented, and proactive in improving processes
