IT Support Engineer
Role: Highly skilled IT Support Engineer to manage complex technical escalations, maintain critical infrastructure, and mentor junior staff. You should be proficient across the stack – from end‑user support to server maintenance.

Responsibilities
* Focus on advanced problem resolution and infrastructure stability.
* Serve as the escalation point for all complex hardware, software, and network incidents, driving issues to complete resolution.
* Manage and maintain core server infrastructure (physical and virtualized environments, e.g., VMware), including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
* Oversee and optimize Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, and DHCP services.
* Develop, implement, and maintain IT operational documentation and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.
* Lead small to medium‑scale IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new infrastructure rollouts.
* Support global projects to ensure smooth transitions.
* Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for sophisticated network components (e.g., firewalls, managed switches, Wi‑Fi configurations).
Qualifications
* 2+ years of advanced IT support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
* Deep proficiency with Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022) and virtualization technologies.
* Scripting proficiency using PowerShell for routine tasks and automation is highly desirable.
* Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLAN configuration, and VPN technologies.
* Exceptional diagnostic, analytical, and mentoring abilities.
* UK security clearance will be required for this role.
