Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home
Basic salary from £35k+ (plus bonus)

The Belsteads Group currently have 3 x homes, set within 11 acres of beautiful grounds, caring for young people from the ages 8-17 with a learning disability or complex needs.
The Lodge is a purpose built 4 bedroom home specifically tailored to provide bespoke care for young people with a Learning Disability. Ofsted rated good
You will need to have experience within a similar child residential setting (1 year+ as a Senior/Shift Leader) and have appropriate qualifications (minimum Level 3/4 residential childcare or working towards)
Main purpose and contribution of the role:
* Working closely with and deputising for the Home Manager
* Ensure the quality of care and the progress children make is outstanding as detailed within the Children's Homes Regulation 2015 and Quality Standards and defined in the SCCIF.
* Line management, supervision and delegation
* Staff mentoring, coaching and support
* Hold responsibility for the care and welfare of our young people
* Contribute to the development of the home
* Ensure the delivery of a service that is safe, compassionate and effective
* Helping to secure the best outcomes achievable for the young people we support
* To be an ambassador for children with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
* You will be responsible for delivering high quality care and accountable for the service you provide. You will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, to perform to a professional standard that upholds the Belsteads Group values.
