A rare opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Production Engineer, providing engineering support and technical leadership to production, problem solving on machine and process problems, and working closely with maintenance and process engineers to optimise and improve performance. Key skills Ideally educated to degree level in mechanical or chemical engineering Some post graduate experience as a production engineer, machine optimisation engineer, manufacturing engineer, maintenance engineer or continuous improvement engineer ideally in a web processing/web handling manufacturing environment (paper, tissue, fabric, foil, film, coating, plating, lamination) and knowledge of principles such as machine speeds, tensions and temperatures.
