The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer?
Depending on programme assignment, responsibilities may include:
* External flow aerodynamics modelling
* Trajectory modelling and analysis
* Aerothermodynamics modelling
* Thermal response modelling
* Model optimisation and calibration
* Ground trials analysis
* Technical reporting and presentation of results to internal and customer stakeholders
What are we looking for in our next Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer?
* Experience in numerical modelling and computational methods
* Basic understanding of statistical methods
* Degree-level education (or equivalent experiential learning) with exposure to aeronautical or aerospace engineering
* Experience in high-speed aerodynamic analysis (hypersonics experience desirable)
* Demonstrable application of modelling and simulation skills
* Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
* Strong technical report writing skills
* Confident presentation and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
* Self-motivated with the ability to deliver programme milestones
* Comfortable engaging with customers and senior stakeholders
* Experience working in a classified environment (preferred)
* Willingness to pursue DV clearance (preferred)
