Salary: Scale SO1, GBP 35,526 : GBP 37,962 per annum (pay award pending)
Hours: Full time : 37hrs per week (flexible working maybe considered)
Contract: Permanent

About The Role.
Role One: People Services (HR) Advisor, Policy and Reward Team
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are seeking an HR professional to join our People and Development function as a People Services (HR) Advisor within the Policy and Reward team, on a permanent contract.
Reporting to the Senior People Services (HR) Advisor (Policy and Reward team), you will work in a dynamic, fast:paced environment contributing to people services reward related projects and implementing People Services (HR) policies, procedures, guidance and role profiles that support the Constabulary's vision and priorities. You will need to have previous experience of using a variety of Microsoft tools.
Role Two: People Services (HR) Advisor, People Data and Reporting, People and Development Support Team
This is an exciting opportunity for you to support the Data and Reporting Senior People Advisor running, maintaining and manipulating reports utilising People Information systems and data i.e. sickness, FOI requests, NPCC returns and adhoc requests. In addition, you will also undertake quality assurance of HR data and inputting data into the HR system when required. You will possess attention to detail and previous experience using Microsoft Excel.
Whilst both roles are contractually based at HIOWC's Strategic Headquarters in Eastleigh, hybrid working will be available to those joining the team. Applicants must also be aware that there will be a requirement to travel to policing sites within Hampshire and Isle of Wight as required.

Essential Qualifications
:
Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
:
Experience in a generalist HR or similar role, providing advice to a range of managers on People Services (HR) policy.
:
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with managers and staff at all levels and an ability to constructively challenge and resolve problems accordingly.
:
Good communication skills (both written and oral).
:
Understanding and working knowledge of relevant UK employment legislation.
