Based in Edinburgh, this is a permanent, full-time role working closely with the Finance Director on a varied portfolio of high-profile projects and joint ventures. The Opportunity This position blends technical accounting responsibility with commercial, project-focused exposure. Supporting the Finance Director, you'll help manage all financial aspects of a growing development portfolio - from management reporting and cashflow planning to joint venture oversight and investment analysis. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts for development subsidiaries and joint ventures Review budgets, forecasts and reports prepared by joint venture partners Manage cashflows, banking drawdowns and covenant compliance Contribute to project appraisals, investment evaluations and financial models Produce annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors Attend joint venture Board and Shareholder meetings Supervise and support finance team members Liaise with legal, tax and professional advisers Identify opportunities to enhance processes and reporting capability What You'll Bring Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / ICAS) 2-5 years post qualified experience in financial control / management role(s) Solid grounding in management and statutory reporting Strong Excel, modelling and analytical skills, with commercial awareness.
