The role
Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer at junior or senior level
- Strong backend development expertise in Java, Python, or Go
- Strong frontend/UI development experience
- Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with serverless application development on AWS and GCP
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Experience with automated testing, monitoring, and operational support
- Experience working within technology standards, risk management frameworks, and security policies
- Ability to participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust full-stack applications and services
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications using containerized and serverless architectures
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
- Take ownership of the full service lifecycle, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support
- Proactively identify and resolve root causes of issues to improve service reliability and performance
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Adhere to technology standards and risk management frameworks
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in designs and code to ensure compliance with security and data regulations
- Participate in code reviews and follow Developer Manifesto principles
- Collaborate across teams to promote reuse and reduce duplication
