To support the Claims function with administrative services, including London and Europe. Ensure the accuracy of claims data in line with the claims manual and general compliance with regulatory and Company procedures.
* Take ownership of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
* Manage claims processing in line with Starr and Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and your letter of authority or if authority has been granted by an appropriate manager.
* Ensure the DOCOsoft workflow, including diaries, is proactively managed and claims are recorded accurately.
* Attach all relevant documentation to each transaction and use comprehensive notes to outline current status and next steps, enhancing claims outcomes and reducing static claims.
* Process and manage settled direct claims, including diaries, on DOCOsoft. Handle SCM/USM daily processing and address incorrect premium signings with the UW Ops department for correction by XCS.
* Correct any claim signings that have followed the premium signing into suspense.
* Process manual bridging reserves quarterly, reconcile, and remove them once accounts are updated. Follow up on direct/manual fees.
* Review loss fund adequacy and manage recovery of loss funds from prior years. Upload bordereaux to DOCOsoft as appropriate. Monitor and manage ECF/Lirma incompletes.
* Provide general administrative support on diary/static/fee follow-up for all Complex Claims adjusters during busy periods such as holidays.
* Assist with other ad hoc administrative projects within the CST.
* Report any suspicion of financial crime to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately.
* Operate within the Company’s standards for Treating Customers Fairly as per the Consumer Duty regulatory requirements.
* Manage potential conflicts of interest to maintain the Company’s integrity.
* Immediately inform Compliance and Management of any complaints.
* Identify and communicate training or resource gaps to management.
* Promote teamwork and develop a strong team culture and identity.
* Ensure all accounts are contractually certain.
