The PDS plays a critical role in delivering specialised as well as routine Dental services to Fife residents, while still meeting the needs of the ageing population and reducing oral health inequalities.
As the Public Dental Service adjusts and continues to lead change, we are looking for experienced Dental Nurses who make patient care their first priority and who thrive working with a number of different patient groups. In return, the PDS provides an exciting and challenging working environment with access to first class training and development opportunities.
As a GDC registered Dental Nurse holding the national qualification, you will provide first class chair side dental care for children and adults. Overall, it would be great if you were up to speed with the practical application of the SDR and knew your way around R4 Clinical+.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
