Vacancy: Training and Improvement Manager
Location: West London – currently operating an agile working policy with two core days (Mon and Weds) in the office
Contract: Permanent
Pattern: Full Time (standard hours 9am – 5.30pm)

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 (depending on experience)
Role Overview:
The Training and Improvement Manager is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping strategy, core values, and improvement plans. The role involves leading EdTech training programs, managing a training calendar, and leveraging resources to ensure effective training delivery, contributing directly to Ark’s success.
Major focus includes implementing Bromcom MIS across all Primary schools, requiring hands-on training and data support. The role also involves mentoring the systems support team, developing training strategies, and guiding change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Systems Support Team and PMO to drive improvements
2. Engage with schools and stakeholders to identify system and process enhancements; present insights to SLT
3. Manage training resources and delivery
4. Support MIS implementation with training and data entry assistance
5. Mentor the systems support team and develop training strategies
6. Review and improve service quality and support processes
Key Requirements:
* Degree-level education
* Proven leadership in training and development, preferably in an educational setting
* Expertise in Bromcom MIS
* Experience in strategic planning within leadership teams
* Ability to coordinate internal and external training resources
* Mentoring and service development skills
* Focus on customer experience and end-user empathy
* Data analysis skills for informed decision-making
* Understanding of educational landscape and project management
* Strong communication skills
