Document Controller | Essex Region
Join one of the region’s leading property developers specialising in high-quality residential-led developments. With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for excellence, we're looking for a detail-driven Document Controller to support our growing team.
Role Overview
As Document Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless information management across a portfolio of residential schemes. You'll be responsible for maintaining control over project documentation, managing document flow between internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring the latest revisions are easily accessible at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain document control processes and systems (Asite or Viewpoint)
* Ensure all drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence are accurately logged, updated, and distributed
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely document submissions
* Monitor document approvals, version control and file organisation
* Ensure compliance with company and project standards
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a Document Controller role within a property developer, contractor or consultancy
* Strong understanding of document management systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite)
* Organised, methodical, and reliable with high attention to detail
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Based in or near Essex
