An exceptional SEN school in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Science Teacher with a specialist in Physics and Chemistry to join their team from September 2026 on a 1-year long-term placement.

The Role
As a Part-Time Science Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging KS3 & KS4 Science, specialising in Physics and Chemistry
* Adapt and differentiate learning for students with ASD and complex needs
* Work closely with experienced TAs to support engagement and progress
* Deliver practical, accessible and hands-on Science lessons
* Support both academic progress and social-emotional development
* Contribute to a calm, structured and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in Physics and/or Chemistry
* Experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4 (SEN experience highly desirable)
* A calm, patient and adaptable teaching style
* Confidence supporting learners with ASD and additional needs
* A passion for inclusive education and making Science accessible to all learners
