Key Responsibilities:
* Support balance sheet accounting and assurance
* Manage statutory accounting and reporting
* Oversee systems and process transformations
* Lead compliance, risk management, and controllership
* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
* Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analysis
* Coordinate regulatory reporting
* Research and resolve technical accounting issues
* Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
* Ensure quality control over transactions and reporting
* Manage tax filings and compliance
* Develop business processes and accounting policies
* Maintain balance sheet controls and reconciliations
* Implement processes to improve efficiency and reliability
* Support the development of a high-performing finance team
* Build reports and manage data sets using Excel
Requirements:
* ACA Qualified or equivalent with strong academic background
* Proven experience leading a sizable finance team
* Strong expertise in financial reporting, balance sheet control, and processes
Your Profile:
* People-centric, passionate about financial accounting
* Willing to commute to Basingstoke 2-3 days a week
Competitive daily rate of £450-£500, based on experience.
