About the Role
This is a new position within our growing team. You'll be our first dedicated kitchen designer, helping us define how North Arch Kitchens will look, work, and grow.
We're not offering a one-size-fits-all setup. Instead, we're building the model around you, the right software, workflows, showroom displays, and sales approach. You'll play a key role in shaping the direction of this business from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead kitchen design consultations in our Muswell Hill showroom and in clients' homes
* Create stunning, functional designs using your preferred CAD software
* Turn ideas into layouts, mood boards, technical drawings, and quotes
* Guide clients through the full journey — from concept to completion
* Work closely with our in-house installers and project managers
* Place and track orders with suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timing
* Help build our supplier network, product offering, and internal processes
* Contribute to the setup and feel of our new kitchen showroom displays
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience designing and selling kitchens (mid-to-high-end preferred)
* A track record of working in independent studios or small businesses
* Strong understanding of cabinetry, appliances, worktops, and space planning
* Confident leading client conversations and closing sales
* Familiar with fit-out processes and working with installers
* Comfortable managing multiple design projects from start to finish
* Sense of humour is essential – we work hard but don't take ourselves too seriously
* Ambition to grow with a business and help define what it becomes
Bonus Points
* Experience with brands high end brands.
* Interior design background
* North London-based or familiar with the area
* Ready to travel for supplier training, events, and the occasional design fair
