Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 hrs per day, 8-4pm but can be flexible on the start times
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Pilot Plant Technician to support laboratory and pilot plant activities within our Process Development team. You’ll play a key role in new product introductions, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth scale‑up to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handle hazardous chemicals safely and follow all EHS requirements.
2. Maintain and validate lab and pilot plant equipment.
3. Support lab trials, scale‑up activities, and technical investigations.
4. Carry out final testing for new product introductions (NPIs).
5. Manage raw materials/consumables for NPIs.
6. Accurately complete batch sheets and technical documentation.
7. Contribute to 5S and continuous improvement.
8. Work closely with Production, Quality, and R&T teams.
What We’re Looking For
9. A‑Level in Science or BTEC/NVQ/HND in Laboratory Science (or equivalent).
10. Experience in a lab or technical environment.
11. Strong EHS and quality focus.
12. Good teamwork, communication, and organisation skills.
13. Experience with epoxy/MMA systems is an advantage.
14. High attention to detail; a completer–finisher mindset.
15. Experience working within Quality Control environments.
16. IT proficiency, ideally including SAP and Microsoft Office.
