Our well-established and leading client who specialise in the local area are currently recruiting for a professional and driven individual to join their team as Accounts Assistant. This will be on a full time, permanent basis from their offices in Gloucester (free parking).
You will have previous experience working within a similar accounts role and be willing to join a small and friendly team working alongside likeminded individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily income entering of the commercial client accounts
- Regular setting up and execution of payment runs
- Raising quarterly & monthly invoices and demands
- Credit control
- Service Charge Management
- Monthly & quarterly accounts reconciliations
- Preparing information for accountants to submit VAT returns
- Dealing with tenant and client account queries
- Insurance and utility recharging
Candidate Attributes:
-Previous experience in a similar accounting role
-Computer Literate with knowledge of accounting systems
-Methodical and thorough approach to work
-Organised and good at prioritisation skills
-A great team player
Hour: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm (early Friday finish dependent on workload)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience + benefits including a discretionary annual bonus, free parking, 22 days holiday + bank holidays, gifted Christmas shutdown
