Position Overview
Sales role focused on Water and Wastewater SaaS software solutions. Based in the UK and reporting to the Sales Director for Autodesk Water Infrastructure EMEA, you will be responsible for Autodesk's Innovyze product direct and channel sales activity for your territory. This role requires deep hydrologic or hydraulic engineering knowledge and involves sales to existing and new customers in collaboration with Solution Engineers, Autodesk sales colleagues, and Channel Partners. We support hybrid working; you may work near an office or remotely.
Responsibilities
* Work with end-users designing, managing, and operating water & wastewater infrastructure. This is an individual sales role.
* Focus on Water Infrastructure product sales within your territory by prospecting and selling complex software solutions to SMB and enterprise customers.
* Understand customer requirements to recommend and sell Autodesk Water Infrastructure products or solutions.
* Educate customers and partners on Software and SaaS subscription models.
* Expand opportunities and increase deal sizes through cross-selling.
* Develop and maintain territory account plans and financial forecasts.
* Present sales forecasts and meet sales targets.
* Utilize Autodesk sales methodologies and tools.
* Engage in account planning, including profiling, positioning, needs analysis, and long-term strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
* Over 5 years of experience in the UK Water sector.
* Passion for building relationships with strategic customers and channel partners.
* Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in European water and wastewater sectors.
* At least 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience in complex B2B Software/SaaS within civil/hydrologic/hydraulic engineering.
* Knowledge of consultative sales techniques like outcome selling.
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* College degree or equivalent experience.
