The Finance, Commercial, Sustainability and Property (FCSP) Directorate manages, oversees, and analyses the Agency's financial and commercial activities. By reporting on our current position, forecasting future budgets, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, we play an active role in understanding the agency's performance and shaping its financial future.
The role is within the Project & National Interest Case Finance Business Partner Team, which provides project finance advice to key stakeholders and senior leaders across a growing project portfolio. We are recruiting a Level 7 Apprenticeship Cost Centre Manager within the Insolvency Service's FCSP directorate. This is a rewarding role within an established team of finance professionals.
The successful candidate will undertake a full Level 7 Accountancy Professional apprenticeship, including studying for the CIMA qualification, which will be completed within a maximum of 36 months, depending on current qualifications. The apprenticeship is fully funded, and applications from candidates who are part way through or have completed their studies will be considered. If the candidate is too advanced in their studies to complete the apprenticeship, the role may be offered as a fully-funded non-apprenticeship position.
This is a full-time role, 36/37 hours per week, with part-time applications considered based on working hours meeting role and apprenticeship demands. Responsibilities include managing the general ledger and cost centres, raising purchase orders, providing reports and analysis, managing budgets and forecasts, and supporting the Finance Business Partner during absences.
The Insolvency Service is a leading government agency providing essential services to the public and businesses. We value diversity and inclusivity, welcoming applications from all backgrounds, including underrepresented groups. We offer flexible working arrangements and are committed to the development and well-being of our staff. Join us to build a meaningful career in a supportive environment.
