Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and kitchen management. Previous restaurant, culinary, or hotel experience is highly desirable, along with supervising experience and team management skills. Responsibilities
* Manage daily restaurant operations, including overseeing food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
* Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of hospitality
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness across all areas of the establishment
* Oversee food production, kitchen workflows, and ensure efficient utilisation of resources
* Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance management to foster a cohesive team environment
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction
* Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours while adhering to labour regulations
* Implement health and safety policies across the restaurant in accordance with legal requirements
* Collaborate with senior management on marketing initiatives and menu development
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
* Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
* Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
* Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is advantageous
* Familiarity with serving procedures, hospitality best practices, and barista experience is beneficial
* Previous roles involving culinary experience or food service management are highly valued
