Overview
Bank MRI Radiographer role at OSD Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead. This is a bank (on-call/zero-hours) position with a competitive salary plus benefits. Working pattern: part-time.
Job Responsibilities
* Undertaking all clinical work in the Imaging Department using specialised knowledge and expertise and supporting the Imaging Lead.
* Delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
* Participating in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols.
* Producing high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc Radiography or equivalent with HCPC registration.
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally within private healthcare.
Essential Skills & Attributes
* Excellent understanding of the role of a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer and Imaging service.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Sound leadership and influencing skills; high standard of clinical practice.
* Evidence-based practice and ability to coach, advise and develop others.
* Knowledge of standards and external bodies (e.g., Care Quality Commission).
* Ability to work on own initiative and flexibly across 7 days when required.
* Effective planning and organisational skills; articulate and confident communicator.
* High standards of personal presentation and a strong engagement with OSDH values.
Desirable / Additional Information
* Private healthcare experience; teaching experience; awareness of quality and clinical audit and statistical analysis.
