Little Oaks Nursery is looking for a qualified practitioner (level 2 or 3) who is seeking a new career opportunity. As a not for profit charity we reinvest in our nursery and staff to ensure children receive high quality care and access to a wide range of age appropriate resources.
* Practitioners are encouraged to continue their professional development and training opportunities are provided within work time.
* We offer competitive holiday entitlement (24 days plus bank holidays for full time staff, pro rata for part time staff)
* We are closed between Christmas and New Year and offer an annual bonus scheme.
We are looking for a full time (37.5 hours per week) practitioner.
Full time hours - 8 hours per day over 5 days or condensed hours are available.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Level 2 or 3 or above relevant Early Years qualification.
* Good working knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
* Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
* A passion for working with children, developing new activities and resources.

Senior Early Years Practitioner
Pay: £15.99 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Early Years Practitioner and SENCO to join our team. Working in a "third in charge" capacity you will be responsible for ensuring our nursery is fully inclusive and meets the needs of all our children on the SEN register. As part of the Senior Management team, you will work across all three rooms in nursery to provide support to Room Supervisors and their staff teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves having a good working knowledge of the SEND code of practice and experience of working in a SENCO capacity. A level 5 in Early years would be ideal, however we would consider applicants who are committed to achieving a level 5 as part of their CP.
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant).
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in an early years setting.
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
* Full-time & Part-time (all year round).
