Focused Improvement Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. The jobholder is a member of the Site Leadership Team and will play a key role as a thought partner with the Plant Director, global teams, and has important links with Global Industrial Engineering (IE). The Focused Improvement Manager is essential in developing and delivering the site's strategy through building across the site to identify and eliminate losses.
What Are We Looking For?
* A degree-level education with exceptional numeracy, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
* Relevant experience working in a production/Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment. Previous experience in line management is highly desirable.
* Proven leadership experience, including direct line management and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Great stakeholder management skills.
* A strong affinity for data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
* A willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
* This role is based in Kings Lynn and requires on-site presence.
What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?
* Lead the MSE program and the FI pillar, providing coaching and guidance to other MSE pillar leaders and team members. Balance short-term business objectives with long-term strategic goals, while driving VLS initiatives and loss analysis to improve overall performance.
* Drive Value Leadership, manage the pipeline of projects, and identify process inefficiencies and loss sources. Use cross-functional teams to eliminate inefficiencies and drive improvements.
* Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to identify and resolve losses, using data analysis. Represent Supply in ATG's related to Innovation & COGS activities. Oversee the development and deployment of the Site Masterplan with Global IE and Site Leadership. Manage the Site Investment CAB program in coordination with technical and global teams.
* Manage and develop Associates in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, focused improvement, and PPPI. Empower teams to build capabilities and drive performance. Extend MSE tools to improve Quality, Safety, and Food Safety, supporting AHC & reliability processes. Drive standard work efforts and collaborate on the annual Operating Plan.
* Train and mentor plant Associates in problem-solving techniques (e.g., EDPS, BDE, Six Sigma). Ensure alignment with Regional/Global MSE teams and compliance with standards. Oversee the implementation of new products and processes, ensuring seamless handover to Operations.
