This is an excellent opportunity to work within our Customer Solutions and Flexible Generation Finance teams as part of the Finance function. The Customer Solutions and Flexible Generation Finance Teams are responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate management reports with this role primarily focused on operating costs. Reporting to the Flexible Generation Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will initially focus on the preparation of monthly management accounts along with assisting in business planning and forecasting. This will involve the Accounts Assistant developing both business and accounting knowledge whilst engaging with various stakeholders across the Group. We are seeking an ambitious and resourceful candidate who will enjoy working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. The role will suit a dedicated and highly motivated individual who is a self-starter with a forward-thinking and proactive approach. What you'll need A minimum of 1 year(s) of experience working in a finance related discipline. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong communication skills. Demonstrable experience liaising with various stakeholders. Proficient in using MS Excel to interrogate data.
