Your New Company: We are working with a pioneer in the Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) market, leading the next evolution in legal services through AI-integrated contracting. They are searching for a Contracts Specialist to join their team as a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management) in Belfast. Our client is the market leader in Integrated Law, combining traditional law expertise, the efficiency of New Law, and the close business integration of In-house legal teams to deliver complex legal work at scale. They collaborate with corporate legal departments to address increasing demands and complexities of transactional legal work. Their approach combines specialist expertise, AI-powered solutions, and business process knowledge to improve performance, legal outcomes, and the contracting experience. Your New Role: As the Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), you will support clients' businesses by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, providing general support to the clients' contracts management and in-house legal teams. Responsibilities:
1. Draft and negotiate a wide range of Commercial Contracts.
2. Work closely with clients' in-house legal departments on matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, or consumer issues.
3. Contribute to the delivery of services and ensure compliance with all commitments.
4. Manage active caseloads efficiently.
5. Adhere to all delivery processes and commitments.
6. Input and manage data on company and client systems, keeping them up to date.
7. Help develop contract templates, playbooks, and other tools for team use.
8. Participate in ongoing improvements to service delivery and value addition.
What You Need To Succeed:
Essential Criteria:
* Adaptable, authentic, accountable, and values-driven.
* A team player with personal leadership qualities.
* Legal qualification with a Law Degree or equivalent.
* Legally eligible to work in the role's country.
* Minimum 4 years of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts experience.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience with client-facing roles.
* Good commercial awareness and knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word.
* Alignment with company core values: Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability, Stewardship.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience with telecommunications, financial services, or professional services firms, preferably in a contracting role.
* In-house legal experience.
