Giant Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and growing M&E contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction team covering projects across the Midlands region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background pricing commercial, industrial, data centre, logistics and large-scale infrastructure projects.
The Role
As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive electrical tenders, working closely with the commercial and operational teams to secure new projects. You will play a key role in analysing project documentation, preparing cost plans, and supporting the business in winning new work.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
*
Producing accurate cost plans and take-offs
*
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
*
Value engineering and cost optimisation
*
Preparing tender clarifications and supporting documentation
*
Supporting bid meetings and pre-construction planning
*
Working closely with commercial and operational teams
*
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Requirements
*
Extensive experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E sector
*
Strong knowledge of electrical installations and building services
*
Experience pricing projects across commercial and industrial sectors
*
Strong analytical and numerical skills
*
Ability to work to tight tender deadlines
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
Electrical or building services qualification desirable
