About the Role
Multitask Recruitment Solutions are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturer of bespoke automated machinery for the production industry.
You’ll be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of machine components and structures. You’ll also support the wider team with machine assembly and build when required—meaning no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
* MIG welding (primary), with occasional TIG welding as needed
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Fabricating and assembling parts to specification
* Operating workshop tools including pillar drills, band saws, and power tools
* Collaborating with the production team to meet targets and deadlines
* Maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
Ideal Candidate
* Proven welding experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Confident in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus
* Skilled with general fabrication tools and equipment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings
* Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset
* Reliable, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 07:30–16:30
* Friday: 07:30–12:30 (early finish!)
* Core hours: 39 per week
