Job Description
3. Monitor and manage the organisation's credit accounts to ensure timely payments.
4. Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies.
5. Maintain accurate records of credit and debt transactions in the accounting system.
6. Prepare regular reports on aged debt and recovery progress.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to address billing or payment issues.
8. Ensure compliance with organisational policies and financial regulations.
9. Identify and escalate high-risk accounts for appropriate action.
10. Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Previous experience in credit control or a related Accounting & Finance role.
12. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
13. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
14. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and debt recovery.
16. An understanding of Public Sector financial regulations is advantageous.
