Join our Foundation Learning and Student Support Department as a Care Experienced Administrator and make a real difference to students’ lives. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide essential administrative support, helping to ensure care experienced learners receive the guidance and opportunities they need to succeed. We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential.
We have an exciting opportunity at our Harpurhey Campus to join our Foundation Learning and Student Support Department as a Care Experienced Administrator on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only basis (over 38 weeks).
As our Care Experienced Administrator, you will:
1. Provide proactive and responsive administrative support to Designated Teachers, Pastoral Support Officers, and wider staff involved in the student support team.
2. Coordinate and track key processes such as PEPs (Personal Education Plans), CLA reviews, and pupil premium funding, ensuring deadlines are met and information is accurate.
3. Be a key point of contact for external partners such as Virtual Schools, Local Authorities, and support agencies.
4. Contribute to improving outcomes by maintaining accurate data, enabling effective monitoring of progress, attendance, and engagement.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
11. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage diaries, arrange meetings, and prioritise competing demands effectively.
12. GCSE or L2 equivalent English.
13. GCSE or L2 equivalent Maths.
14. L1 Business & Administration Award, (Equivalent qualification or relevant experience)
15. Care experience and familiarity with booking PEPS, as well as experience working with Virtual Schools.
16. Experience in processing pupil premium invoices.
