Overview
As Hotel Maintenance Assistant you'll be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and in good working order. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring the hotel's facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and employees. This role is unlike any other in our hotel and you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Responsibilities
* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and perform routine maintenance tasks.
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other hotel systems.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
* Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and employees.
* Identify potential maintenance issues and address them before they escalate.
Qualifications / Skills
* Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other hotel equipment.
* Communication and customer service skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
* Attention to detail to identify issues early.
* Time management to prioritise key hotel projects.
* Technical skills: basic knowledge of computer systems, maintenance software, and scheduling tools.
