Position Overview
We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will oversee the day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will ensure the company executes its strategy efficiently, drives operational scalability, and maintains a high‑performance culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership & Management: Oversee daily operations across core departments including Operations, HR, IT, and other critical functions.
* Process Optimization: Design, implement and continuously monitor standardized procedures and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
* Risk Management: Identify, evaluate and mitigate key operational risks to ensure compliance, business continuity and organizational stability.
* Strategic Planning & Execution: Translate the CEO’s long‑term vision into actionable plans and departmental targets.
* Performance Monitoring: Establish, track and analyze KPIs, report insights to the CEO and recommend corrective actions.
* Growth & Scalability: Lead initiatives to build the necessary infrastructure, technology and organizational structure to support sustainable company growth.
* Financial & Resource Stewardship: Collaborate with the CFO on budget oversight, control expenses, identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profit margins; manage and allocate internal resources effectively.
* Talent & Culture Development: Mentor and guide department heads and senior leadership; foster a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.
* Culture Champion: Champion the company’s core values, ensuring a culture that supports high performance and drives employee engagement and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum of 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations.
* Proven track record of scaling operations, driving efficiency and managing complex cross‑departmental functions.
* Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring senior managers and leading large teams.
* Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma and strategic planning frameworks.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Executive Leadership or Strategic Management) are highly beneficial.
