Location: Colwyn Bay, Wales
Salary: £45,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Flexible working pattern within a 45-hour week. Operating hours are 7:00am 7:00pm.
Overtime: Optional Saturday overtime available.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and growing workshop in Colwyn Bay. We are looking for a skilled technician who is confident working on a wide range of vehicles, including commercial vehicles, cars, vans, and all makes and models.

This is a hands-on role for a dedicated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
• Work on commercial vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and passenger cars.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance carried out.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.

RequirementsEssential

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on multiple vehicle brands and models.
• Experience with commercial vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools required.

Desirable

• MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Commercial vehicle qualifications or additional manufacturer training.
