Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or learning difficulties
* Assisting the class teacher in adapting lesson plans and classroom activities
* Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development through targeted interventions
* Promoting a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationships
* Monitoring progress and sharing feedback with teachers and SENCOs
* Supporting play-based learning and contributing to school-wide SEN strategies
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related field
* A genuine interest in SEN support and inclusive education
* Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
* Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills
* A proactive, flexible, and supportive attitude
* Aspiration to work in education, SEN, child psychology, or therapy
