Position: Lecturer, BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance
We are seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
* Develop, update, and improve course materials.
* Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
* Stay up-to-date with developments in the field and student support practices.
* Work towards clear objectives for student attendance, completion, satisfaction and progression.
Qualifications & Experience
* Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the broader subject area.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Experience with accurate reporting and maintaining thorough student records.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme and complete within three years) or fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
* Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes.
