Pay: £105–£120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant and passionate about supporting young people with Autism? A specialist Post-16 provision in the Croydon area is looking for a dedicated and understanding LSA to join their team.
🔎 About the Role:
You will be supporting autistic students aged 16–19, helping them develop key life skills, build independence, and access a personalised curriculum. The role involves both classroom support and 1:1 mentoring, with a focus on communication, emotional regulation, and preparing students for adulthood.
💡 Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class and 1:1 support for post-16 autistic learners
Assist with personalised learning plans and structured routines
Support communication needs, sensory regulation, and independence
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support teams
Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment✅ Requirements:
Experience supporting autistic young people, ideally Post-16
Understanding of Autism, communication strategies, and sensory needs
Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach
Ability to build positive and trusting relationships
