As a key member of the CPD Sales Category Management team, you will provide the National, West Geo, and Central teams with strategic insights, solutions, and analytics to influence category management. You will lead the evolution and execution of our category management efforts across CPD, developing actionable category and shopper insights through ownership of reviews, joint business planning, and innovation presentations in partnership with sales.

What You Do.
* Report to the Director of Category Management, serving as an industry leader in applying syndicated and shopper insight platforms to drive growth.
* Serve as the primary category management expert for regional accounts, collaborating with the sales team.
* Leverage insights and data sources to influence category strategies that promote growth.
* Develop and manage national and key account insights, influencing business strategies and tactics.
* Create best practices by identifying opportunities and recommending new methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Facilitate sharing of insights across the organization—HQ, Field Sales, Marketing, and agencies.
* Develop analytical skills and fact-based selling through training and tool implementation.
* Use storytelling with data and insights to influence category management plans aligned with retailer objectives.
* Engage in focused projects as assigned.
* Analyze customer-specific data to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements for growth and profitability.
* Partner with sales and category managers to leverage insights and tools effectively.
* Support sales projects with study design, execution, and actionable recommendations.
* Build and maintain relationships across customers and internal teams to enhance category management.
* Travel up to 20-25% as needed.
Your Education and Experience.
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
* At least five years of experience in the CPG industry.
* Prior experience in category captaincy or advisory roles.
* Proficiency in Luminate, Nielsen, and Circana databases.
* Experience with Shopper card data and insights is strongly preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
