Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our Alresford store, driving sales and providing excellent customer service while supporting Age UK’s fundraising mission.
Key Responsibilities
As Store Manager you will:
* Manage day‑to‑day store operations, maximizing sales and profits.
* Lead and develop a team of staff and volunteers.
* Maintain high standards of customer service.
* Handle and lift stock bags up to 10 kg.
* Work 35 hours across a 7‑day week, including Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis.

* Experience in a performance‑driven retail or customer‑centric environment.
* Proven people‑management skills.
* Ability to build, retain, and develop a team.
* Strong drive to achieve results through others.
* Excellent delegation, coaching, and listening skills.
* Strong time‑management under conflicting priorities.
* Ability to motivate self and others.
* Adaptability to change and support others through it.
* Effective communication with a diverse workforce and customer base.
* Experience establishing and maintaining successful retail processes and merchandising.
* IT literacy and numeracy skills.
