We are seeking an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager to lead our global SAP support operations. This is a key role within our Global IT team, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations across SAP.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and take responsibility for the BAU support operations of SAP globally, managing day-to-day operations of SAP technologies, particularly S/4HANA
* Manage Incident, Problem, and Change management processes and act as the escalation point for support-related issues.
* Overseeing SAP technologies availability, performance, upgrades, ensuring the highest levels of availability to agreed internal and external SLAs, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement
* Manage vendor relationships for SAP support and AMS (Application Management Services) including service levels
* Software asset management ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to and reportable within the defined application
* Ownership of SAP change and release management processes.
* Ensure process documentation is maintained and that policies are adhered to, ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and security standards.
* Provide direction and in particular drive forward new and existing SAP “Business as usual” projects
* Line Management of the SAP Support Team personnel including functional Consultants, BI Development and Governance functions
Requirements
* A proven track record of leading application functions through significant growth and transformation
* Extensive experience coordinating remote support teams and managing external resources
* Strong technical expertise across SAP technologies, particularly S/4HANA
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience operating within SOx-compliant environment
* Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and outsourced partners effectively
* Experience in “business as usual” application support management
* Demonstration of strong budget management
* A strong understanding of SAP application integration across the wider eco-system
