Hours: 40 hours per week across Monday - Sunday covering early, late and night weekday and weekend shifts as required.

Responsibilities
* Ensure that the Distribution Management System is kept up to date and data is correctly input daily; all drivers are de‑briefed at the end of their duty.
* Ensure that Isotrak, Business Asset Tracker and Vision FTA, the system we use to record HGV drivers’ hours, is kept up to date and data is correctly input daily to comply with European Legislation.
* Issue vehicle keys and logbooks in line with Royal Mail standards.
* Ensure digital tacho cards are downloaded in line with Royal Mail policy.
* Carry out daily debrief with all drivers; any unresolved issues are passed onto the shift manager.
* Ensure planned maintenance is carried out for vehicles and that the maintenance board and vehicle files are kept up to date.
* Cover additional administrative duties as and when required.

* Computer literate with good numeracy and literacy skills
* Looking for a role with targets to hit and challenges to overcome
* Hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points for driving up to 3.5t vehicle (van) to take drivers to the vehicle workshops to collect HGV vehicles

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to working hours)
* Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of 1.25 for more than 40 hours a week
