What You’ll Be Doing as a School Administrator: Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and care Keep school policies up to date, ensuring full compliance Maintain accurate, secure records and filing systems Support the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff with high-level admin tasks Be the friendly face (and voice) answering phone and email enquiries Schedule and minute meetings, prepare reports, surveys, and other documentation Assist with daily operations, helping the admin team meet tight deadlines We’re Looking for Someone Who: Communicates clearly and professionally—both in person and in writing Has a warm, positive, and approachable manner (with a sense of humour too!) Can juggle tasks, prioritise well, and stay calm under pressure Works confidently on their own but loves being part of a team Has great IT skills—especially in Microsoft Word & Excel Has experience in an admin role and is ready to hit the ground running Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above Can build great rapport with children of all ages and abilities About the Academy: The school supports pupils aged 4 to 19 with complex learning needs, providing a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
