The Role
The field engineer will be responsible for electrical and mechanical installation, service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
* Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning
* 3-phase electrical installations and fault finding and repair (e.g. control panels, motors, sensors, relays etc.)
* Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repair work
* Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks
* Ensure accurate visit reports, including details of work undertaken/completed, are recorded on the computer system
Candidate
You will be a competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair skills.
Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in electrical engineering (e.g. 18th edition).
Applicants with previous work experience with vehicle wash systems would be beneficial but not essential, as training will be given.
You will be computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be comfortable working outdoors and occasionally staying away from home.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 45 hours + OT
