Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Head of International Programmes for a respected international Catholic charity supporting seafarers, fishers and their families worldwide. The organisation operates an extensive global network spanning more than 50 countries and hundreds of ports, delivering vital practical, pastoral and welfare support to those working at sea.
Reporting to the CEO, the postholder will lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s international strategy, strengthening partnerships across the global network and identifying opportunities to expand programmes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, develop a pipeline of high-impact projects, and secure funding from corporates, trusts and foundations. The role will oversee programme delivery, grant management and reporting, ensuring compliance and impact, while also contributing to business planning, budgeting and organisational leadership. You will represent the organisation externally, both in the UK and internationally, and play a key role in enhancing its reputation and influence across the sector.
