Responsibilities
* Location: North London – hybrid working options
* Salary: £32,000 to £39,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits
* Business Development Manager (Travel and Tourism)
* Manage group travel bookings for the UK and Ireland by preparing quotes, responding to client requests, and securing confirmed business.
* Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate with operations to ensure successful delivery of each group.
* Generate and develop new and repeat group travel business for UK & Ireland destinations.
* Prepare detailed and competitive quotations and itineraries for client groups.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to support ongoing business.
* Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to maximise value and margins.
* Ensure accurate booking information and smooth handover to the operations team.
* Track market trends and competitor activity to keep offers competitive.
Candidate's Profile
* Fluency in either German, Italian or a Scandinavian language would be required.
* Previous experience within a Destination Management or Travel Management Company – Essential.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK and Ireland as a destination.
* Knowledge of market rates and prices.
* Great communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and adapt to situation.
* Proactive, confident and dynamic personality.
* IT literate.
