Job Title: Locum Consultant Dermatologist
We are seeking a Locum Consultant Dermatologist with a Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent to assist with triage of dermatology referrals.
About the Role
* Covering minor operations, biologics, and 2-week wait clinics.
* Pay rates range from £800 to £2500 per day, paid via limited company, umbrella, or self-employment.
* Duration: 3 months up to 1 year.
* Responsibilities include seeing general dermatology patients referred by GPs, conducting investigations, diagnosing conditions, and recommending treatments.
* Refer patients back to GPs or for specialist opinions as appropriate.
* Support dermatology nurse specialists and undertake procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, and cautery.
Candidate Requirements
* Must be able to see patients directly referred by GPs.
* Must hold a Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent.
* Must have nursing support during clinics.
