The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. Due to a successful year, we are expanding our team. You will be the friendly face providing first-class service and repair work at customers’ workplaces or homes.
As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments to complete service inspections, handle breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and ensure smooth operations. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you excel in your role. What will I be doing?
You'll be:
* A communicator: Master diagnostics and delight customers by sharing knowledge clearly, ensuring they feel safe and cared for.
* A self-starter: Work independently or in a team, driving to various locations in all weather conditions. No two days are the same, with appointment-based work and breakdowns.
* A fixer/problem solver: Use your technical skills to solve a variety of issues, whether fixing vehicles roadside or attending appointments, helping customers get back on their way.
* Being the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, ready for anything, anytime, anywhere, in any weather, to get drivers moving again and build their confidence for now and the future.
What do I need?
You’ll need:
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
* A full category B driving license with 6 points or less.
* Flexibility to work hours that may include evenings.
