Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Process Electrical Engineer located within an hour of Nuneaton. The Process Electrical Engineer will engage in day-to-day tasks such as designing electrical systems and panels, commissioning and fault finding of inverters and PLC's, and working on site when necessary. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment, and collaborating with other engineering team members to improve machinery efficiency.
Qualifications
* Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills with at least 7 years experience with appropriate qualifications such as 18th Edition Electrics.
* Multi Skilled and posses a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and enjoy no two days being the same.
* Be prepared to work on site as well as in the workshop.
* Knowledge of Electrical systems such as inverters and PLC's
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and think critically
* Experience in the dairy or food industry is preferable
* Experience with logic controllers and automation systems is preferable
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
* Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
* Utilise small programmable logic controllers for automation processes within projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical systems.
* Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering technologies.
