Job Description
Our live‑in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day‑to‑day companionship, personal care, assistance with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
You will be provided with a private room and adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different and you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter.
Our client lives in CV33 and has Cerebral Palsy, and their speech is affected. When communicating it is important to hold good eye contact. This client is sociable and likes to go out for activities each week. They especially appreciate a proactive approach, asking questions and making suggestions and arrangements.
Qualifications
What you’ll need: social care experience, compassion, ability to care, resilience, willingness to learn new skills and develop knowledge as part of a close‑knit team.
Must hold a level of Cerebral Palsy knowledge.
