The School
A welcoming and community-focused primary school in the Charlton area of Greenwich is seeking a committed Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role
The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 1 class, supporting pupils as they build on their Early Years foundations and develop key skills in reading, writing and maths.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys working in KS1 and understands the importance of structure, routine and engagement at this stage.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering well-structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Supporting phonics, early writing and number development
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
Working closely with teaching assistants and KS1 colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
Holds QTS and has recent UK primary teaching experience
Has a strong understanding of KS1 and early learning
Is confident delivering phonics and early literacy
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and presentation
